**SPECIAL NOTE*** If you have trouble seeing the text in the opening screens and in some of the other Dialog Boxes, you have an old copy of Borland's BWCC.DLL on your computer that must be removed. We installed the new BWCC.DLL file to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ directory. Most likely if you are having a problem, you will find the old file in your \WINDOWS directory. *WELCOME* Welcome to PayWindow a Payroll Package for Windows from ZPAY Payroll Systems, Inc. Please read this file before doing anything in the program. The main PASSWORD that will let you enter the program and change the password to your own is LAUPREYAM and must be entered when you run the program for the first time. You can also enter this any time in the future if you want to change your password again. *How To Use PayWindow* The first thing you need to do is to print the Test Drive Topic in the help file after entering the PayWindow program. You would do this by selecting Help, then selecting the Test Drive topic and click Print Topic. This will show you how to use the PayWindow program and aquaint you with its features. We have tried to add as many keywords that we could think that would be helpful in finding how to do things in PayWindow. If you have any suggestions for improving the help file such as keywords or other text, please let us know. *ZPAY 3 to PayWindow Data File Conversion* There were two Icons added to the program group when you installed this package. Click the instructions for ZPAY2PW and print them. This will allow present users of ZPAY 3 to convert their data files to the PayWindow format. If you don't need it, or after you've completed the file conversion you can delete the ZPAY2PW.EXE and ZPAY2PW.TXT files and remove the Icons from the program group. One Important Word Of Caution!!! When you are done with the sample payroll data, and are ready to start a new file, do not name it PAYROLL. If you do this you will loose your data when you receive any upgrades in the future from us. You must use a new name and start from scratch. ***Upgrading from Version 1.0 or 1.01*** If you are upgrading from version 1.0 or 1.01, you must delete your employer file and create a new one after entering PayWindow. Delete the files with the EMR file suffix. Our sample file is PAYROLL.EMR as an example. You do not have to delete our sample file as it is up to date with the new file structure.
